I live in Leiden, the Netherlands, and work as a taxi driver. Constantly being on the move brings me into contact with moments that often go unnoticed: an empty chair, a waiting traveller, a deserted space, or a landscape that seems to pause for a moment in time.
Through my photography, I explore themes of stillness, absence, and memory. I am drawn to what is not immediately visible and to images that leave room for personal interpretation.
For me, photography is not about capturing an event, but about revealing what remains — or what is on the verge of disappearing.
